I am Jonathan ‘Roger’ Hunt, I answer to ‘Roger’ for most people including friends!

My Qth (location) is in Lincoln, Lincolnshire  although my birthplace was Bridgnorth in Shropshire, year 1944.

So, I am 71 years old as of 11th. August last.

My amateur callsign is G3PVU (1962) other calls I have had SU9VU (2002- 2005)

I lost my Xyl  Ann in January 2013, she was a very keen CB operator on 27 mhz. and 934 mhz. She had lots of freinds as a result of using her radio’s.. She did not hold an amateur licence but was always interested in my activities and social occasions to do with amateur radio and the local radio clubs. Anybody that knew Ann either via the CB radio or socially will know or have known the very person that I miss so much.

I like to operate on most HF bands, six metres, two metres and seventy centimetres.

I have enjoyed radio construction and intend to continue my  work on building  replica spy radio equipment.

My other hobbies are gardening, photography and  astronomy.
